Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Keredari P.S. Case No. 11 of 2024 for the offences registered under Sections 307, 427, 385, 387, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act, pending in the Court of Sri Vivek Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Hazaribag.

On 16.01.2024 at about 9.30 pm, the petitioner and co- accused persons came to the work place of the informant and started firing indiscriminately to enforce demand of rangdari.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner is an accused in as many as six cases of similar nature.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in some of the cases, the petitioner has been granted bail.

Considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.
7.
Learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial.
