1. Heard Mr. Manoj Paranjpe, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. Hariom Rai, learned Panel Lawyer for the State/respondent No. 1.
2. By this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the petitioners seek for the following relief(s):
“1. It is, therefore, most humbly prayed that the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow the instant 482 petition filed by the petitioner and quash the FIR charge sheet and entire criminal proceedings initiated against the applicant vide Final Report/Charge Sheet No. 14/17 dated 28.03.2017 (Annexure P/1).
2. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the
order of framing charge dated 21.06.2017 made by the Special 4th
3 Additional Sessions Judge, Durg, vide Sessions Trial No. 87/2017 against the petitioners (Annexure P/2).
3. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief(s), which is deemed fit and proper in the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case.”
3. At the outset, Mr. Parnjpe, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submit that this petition has been rendered infructuous as the petitioners have been acquitted of the charges by the learned trial Court vide order dated 21.10.2024.
