The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Saiko P.S. Case No. 05 of 2024, corresponding to NDPS Case No.16 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 8, 17, 18 & 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Special Judge, NDPS, Khunti. It was submitted that 105 grams of opium was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that the quantum of seized opium comes within the purview of small quantity. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, NDPS, Khunti, in connection with Saiko P.S.
