For Petitioner : Mr.S.Kishore Kumar For R1 and R2 : Mr.B.Saravanan Additional Government Pleader For R3 and R4 : Mr.Niranjan S.Kumar Standing Counsel O R D E R The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus as against the respondents 3 and 4 herein to permit the petitioner to redeem the pledged gold jewels based upon her representation dated 24.11.2025. 2. It is not in dispute that the petitioner pledged jewels with the third respondent Society. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is ready to pay the amount demanded by the third respondent Society. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 3 and 4 submits that disciplinary action has been initiated as against the concerned person. 5. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner relied upon the orders of this Court in W.P(MD) No.18410 of 2024, dated 16.06.2025, W.P(MD) No. 16027 of 2025, dated 16.06.2025, W.P(MD) No.18277 of 2025, dated 07.07.2025 and W.P(MD) No.23599 of 2025, dated 29.08.2025, wherein this Court has permitted the petitioners therein to redeem jewels from the same Society, citing malpractice of the concerned delinquent secretary. 6. In view of the above said facts, this Writ Petition stands allowed and the respondents 3 and 4 are directed to release the jewels, on payment of necessary charges after getting approval from the respondents 1 and 2.
