Dated 31.07.2025 ‘the BNSS’), seeking to enlarge the petitioner/Accused on bail in Cr.No.127 of 2024 of Ipur Police Station, Palnadu District, registered against the petitioner/Accused herein for the offences punishable under Section 103 (1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity ‘the BNS’),

The case of the prosecution is that on 21.11.2024 at about 5:10 P.M., the de-facto complainant reported that his second elder brother, who has been working as a reporter for the Sakshi newspaper in Ipuru Mandal, was blessed with two daughters. It is stated that his elder brother, being addicted to festivity, fell into severe debts and result, decided to commit suicide. Accordingly, his brother took his two daughters to the Addanki Branch NSP Canal near Muppalla and drove into the flowing water. While his brother was rescued by passersby, both daughters were swept away by the current and remain missing. Upon receiving the information from one Shaik Jaleel, the complainant, along with some villagers, searched for the girls but was unable to trace them. Suspecting that his brother had attempted suicide along with his daughters, the complainant lodged a report with the police. Based on his report, a case of "Girl Missing" was initially registered. as a

learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is innocent of the alleged offence and has

It is further submitted that the petitioner is the sole earning member of the family and, he is ready to abide any conditions that may be imposed by this Court, and it is urged to grant bail to the petitioner. Per contra, Ms.P.Akhila Naidu, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor vehemently opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner, submitting that the investigation is still underway and several material witnesses remain to be examined. It is contended that if the petitioner is released on bail, there is a strong likelihood that he may abscond, thereby hampering the ongoing investigation and evading the process of law. In view of the foregoing, it is urged that the petition be dismissed.

learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. Perused the record.
6. As seen from the record, according to the prosecution, L.W.4 is an eyewitness and is a crucial witness in this case. Pursuant to the filing of the charge sheet, the case was taken on file, a schedule was issued. and the trial is in progress. The accusation against the petitioner is well founded. The learned counsel for the petitioner also confirmed that the trial is ongoing and that ten witnesses on behalf of the prosecution have already been examined. The petitioner was arrested on 28.11.2025 on
Dr. YLR, J Crl.P.No.6627 of2025 Dated 31.07.2025 the charge of causing the death of his two minor children and has been in judicial custody for more than eight (08) months, in view of the above, and
7. as the learned Trial Court has already taken up the matter for trial, the learned XIII Additional District and Sessions Judge, Narasaraopet, is directed to complete the trial as possible, preferably within a period of two (02) months from the of receipt of this order, in S.C.No.165 of 2025, and
judgment on its own merits i as early date pronounce the in accordance with law, without being influenced by any of the observations as mentioned supra.
