The case of the prosecution is that on 30.03.2025 the petitioner met the de-facto complainant's daughter and forcibly hugged her, kissed her on her cheek and threatened her not to tell anyone and forced her to love him and marry him. Further, he threatened her that unless she loves him, he will share the photo of her with the accused on the internet. Hence, a case has been registered against the petitioner. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence. He seeks this Court to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.(MD)No.17343 of 2025 5.This Court has already granted interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner and directed the petitioner to hand over the mobile phone. It is reported that the petitioner has handed over the mobile phone. However, the 164 statement of the victim girl clearly establishes the alleged offences. On perusing the 164 statement, this Court is not inclined to extend the interim anticipatory bail and the same is vacated. 6. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the nature and gravity of the offence and the specific overt act against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner at this stage. 7.
