JUSTICE KARDAK ETE ORDER Date : 29-01-2025 Heard Mr. G. Uddin, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. M. Sharma, learned standing counsel, Central Bank of India for the respondent. 2. The writ petition has been instituted by the petitioner praying for a direction to the respondent Bank to transfer the money of the deceased late Nalini Kumar Choudhury and late Julie Choudhury to Page No.# 2/2 his account which is lying in the respondent Central Bank of India. 3. The matter was heard on 23.01.2025. 4. Having considered that the petitioner is engaged in devotional service and accommodated at ISKON Guwahati situated at Hill of South Sarania, Ulubari by following the principles and regulation of ISKON, suggestion was made that the amount, which is lying in the bank account bearing Account No.1503704408 belongs to late Nalini Kumar Choudhury and late Julie Choudhury with the respondent Central Bank of India, be transferred to the charitable organization or temple. 5. Accordingly, the parties were directed to obtain instructions. 6. Today, when the matter is taken up today, learned counsel for the parties have agreed to the said proposal. 7. Accordingly, as agreed to by the learned counsel for the parties, without going into the merit and also the claim and counter claim of the parties, it is provided that the amount lying in the bank account bearing No.1503704408 with the respondent Central Bank of India in the name of late Nalini Kumar Choudhury and late Julie Choudhury be transferred to ISKON, Guwahati, South Sarania, Ulubari Guwahati in accordance with the procedure/regulation of the bank. 8. The said transfer be made within a period of 2 (two) months from today. Writ petition accordingly disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
