The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (Department of Personnel and Training) has issued Notification No. G.S.R. 471(E) dated 02.08.2024 vide which the jurisdiction to decide the service disputes of the employees of the Universities being autonomous/statutory/corporate body under the of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been conferred on the Central Administrative Tribunal, Jammu Bench. 2. The subject matter of the instant petition falls within the definition of service matters, as contained under Section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act 1985, which has been made applicable to the UT of Jammu and Kashmir after coming into effect the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act 2019. 3. In view of the above, the instant matter requires to be adjudicated upon by the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Jammu Bench. Sr. No. 37 WP (C) No. 556/2020 c/w SWP No. 2566/2018 2 4. Registry, therefore, is directed to transfer the records of the case to CAT, Jammu Bench after retaining soft copy thereof for record purposes. 5.
