A SREEKANTH REDDY(SC FOR ENDOW RS) The Court made the following: 2 ORDER: The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief: “…to issue a writ, order or direction, more particularly, one in the nature of Mandamus, declaring the proceedings in Rc.No.A5/3314/2015, dated 30.06.2015, of the 2nd respondent, appointing a Single Trustee of Sri Anajaneyaswamyvaru Temple, Rajupalem, Martur Mandal, Prakasam District, as illegal, arbitrary and without jurisdiction and consequently, set aside the same and to pass such other order or orders…” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Endowments appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Endowments, appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3, has placed on record the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Rc.No.A5/884/2016, dated 26.04.2016, and submitted that the father of the applicant, Late Sri Jasthi Venkatadraiah, S/o. Ramaiah, was declared as Hereditary Trustee by an order dated 25.07.1986 in O.A.No.49 of 1985, by the Deputy Commissioner, Endowments Department, Guntur (2nd respondent), under the repealed Act 17 of 1966 and hence, his descendants are entitled to be declared as members of the founder family, and there should be no hindrance or objection in this regard. 3 4. Considering the submissions made by learned Assistant Government Pleader, the impugned order in Rc.No.A5/3314/2015, dated 30.06.2015, of the 2nd respondent, is set aside. 5.
