The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Patratu (Bhurkunda) P.S. Case No. 204 of 2024, for the offence under Sections 308(5)/61/3(5) of the B.N.S., pending in the court of Sri Rohit Kumar, learned J.M.F.C., Ramgarh. On 31.07.2024 at about 4:30 p.m., three unknown persons started assaulting the labourers of the informant near Patel Nagar to enforce the demand of rangdari. Rangdari call was also made to the employer of the informant namely Randhir Gupta from a mobile phone. It was submitted that petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R nor he was put on T.I. Parade. It was further submitted that a mobile phone, which was used in demanding rangdari, does not belong to the petitioner. It was finally submitted that several co-accused persons have been granted bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Rohit Kumar, learned J.M.F.C., Ramgarh, or his successor, in connection with Patratu (Bhurkunda) P.S.
