Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jorapokhar P.S. Case No. 93 of 2024, for the offences registered under sections 413/414/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Ms. Nutan Ekka, learned Judicial Magistrate, Dhanbad. During the intervening night of 14/15.06.2024, Jorapokhar Police while on patrolling duty apprehended the petitioner along with co-accused persons from a place near Barari Pond. It is alleged that the accused persons were distributing booty of theft. They had committing theft in Bokaro, Bengal and Dhanbad. On search, several mobile phones were recovered from their possession. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner is an accused in as many as four cases of similar nature. It was further submitted that bail application of co-accused Md. Nasim Ansari has been rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.8168 of 2024. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
