1. This MCC is filed by the applicants seeking correction of the typographical error in the impugned award dated 23.04.2025 passed in MAC No. 661/2020 while awarding the amount of compensation as Rs. 44,400/- under the head of loss of consortium instead of Rs. 44,000/-. Learned counsel for the applicant in support of his contention referred to the Paragraph No. 23 of the order.

Learned counsel for the appellant submits that for the reasons mentioned above, the impugned award be modified accordingly.

Learned counsel for the Respondent/claimants do not dispute the submission of counsel for the appellant.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the applicant and perused the order placed along with the MCC.

Considering the submission of counsel for the respective parties and the contents of the impugned award and looking to the fact that there is a typographical error in the impugned award wherein, the amount of consortium is awarded to the Claimants No. 1 & 2 as Rs. 44,400/- be read as Rs. 44,000/- and therefore, the compensation as mentioned in para 23 of the order be read as Rs. 13,00,360/- (11,79,360 + 44,000 + 44,000 + 16,500 + 16,500). It is ordered accordingly.
6. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this MCC is disposed of. Copy of this order be made part of the claims case. Certified copy as per rules. Sd/-/- (Parth Prateem Sahu) Judge Dey
