The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Petition and the memorandum of grounds filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of SRI K RAGHU VEER Advocate for the Petitioner, and of PUBLIC PROSECUTOR for the Respondent, and the Court made the following ORDER: THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL ORDER: NO: 6573 OF 2025 The Criminal petition, under section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhi{a, 2023, is filed on behalf of the petitioner/A6 {6 grant anticipatory bail in connection with crime No.106/2025 of Lalapet Police Station, Guntur District. 2) A case has been registered against the petl'tioner for the offences punishable under Sections 319(2), 351(2), 79, 64(2)(m) I/w 3(5) of the B.N.S, 3(2)(v), 3(1)(r), 3(2)(va) of the SCs & STs (PoA) Act, 1989. 3) The case of prosecutions in brief, iS that the victim woman belonged to the scheduled Caste Community and her marriage alliance took place with accused No.1 and it was agreed that a sum of Rs.25.00 lakhs and gold would be paid towards dowry and accordingly, a sum of Rs,10.00 lakhs was paid to accused No.1 on 08.03.2025; that on 10.03.2025, the engagement of victim woman and accused No.1 was Performed in the presence of both side elders and it was proposed to perform their marriage on 18.04.2025. lt is the specific accusation that accused No.1 `had sexual intercourse with the victim woman for Q. several times, on the pretext that they both are getting married on 18.04.2025 and later, accused No.1 switch6d off his phone and refused to marry the victim woman and all the accused abused the victim woman and her parents touching their caste and refused to perform the marriage of accused No.1 with the victim woman. The case was 'reported to police and it.was registered as a case in Crime No.106 of 2025 and investigated into. 4) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. Perused the record. 5) A perusal of material-on record goes to show that petitioner/ accused No.6 is maternal uncle of accused No.1 and there is no specific allegation as against the petitioner/accused No.6. A perusal of contents of the petition further goes to show that accused No.1 got married the victim woman and they were living together as a family. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this cc;urf is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/accused No.6. 6) Accordingly, in the event of his arrest with regard to this crime, petitioner/A6 shall be released on ba'll On his executing a Personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand Only), with two sureties for the like sum each, to the satisfaction of the arresting police I+ officials, and also on condition that the petitioner shall make himself available for investigation as and when required and that he shall not cause any threat, inducement or promise to the prosecution witnesses.
