The Court made the following: 2 BSB, J W.P.No.14759 of 2017 O R D E R: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 5th & the 6th respondents in seizing 188 teak logs i.e.32.278 Cmt. of teak timber from the land in Sy.No.39/1, admeasuring Ac.1-48 cents situated in Tummala Village, Chinturu Mandal, East Godavari Dist, Andhra Pradesh by registering a POR.No.2/100, dated 5-12-2016 and Lr.No. RC.No.3079/2016/C3, dated 13.12.2016 addressed by the 4th respondent herein as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 4th to 6th respondents herein to release the said timber to the petitioners herein by issuing transit permits to the destination of their choice forthwith. 2. There is no representation for the petitioners inspite of posting the matter under the caption ‘for dismissal’, as there was no representation for them even on 16.07.2025 and 30.07.2025. 3. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for default. There shall be no order as to costs.
