PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court Made the Following Order: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the BNSS, has been filed by the petitioner/A1, seeking regular bail, in crime No.111 of 2024 of Hukumpeta Police Station, AIluri Sitharama' Raju District. 2. A case has been registered against the Petitioner herein and others for the.offence punishable under Section 111(2) of the BNS and Sections 20(b)(ii)(C) r/w 8(c) and 25 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short `the NDPS Act,. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief iS thatOn 18.ll.2P24, on receipt of credible information, the sub-Inspector of Police along ` ` €-I -``' A with his staff and mediators rushed to Diguduputtu Village and caright the accused while they were found in possession of 135 Kgs of Ganja. The contraband along with other material was seized under the cover of a mediators report. The accused were arrested and got remanded to judicial custody. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. The petitioner/Al was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 18.ll.2024. The statutory period of 180 days has completed and till today no charge sheet is filed. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submitted that police have not filed charge sheet. 6. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/A1, on the following conditions: (i) The petitioner herein/Al shall be released on executing a Personal bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the lear®ned I Additional District & Sessions Judge-Gum-Special Judge for Trail of Offences under NDPS Act, Visakhapatnam. (ii) On release, the petitioner shall appear before the Station House Officer concerned, once in a week i.e. on every `~ <. 3t`-.1 c-a Lrii- sunday between 10.00 a.m, and 05.00 p.m., till filing of the charge sheet.
