Kadapa District, despite the recommendation made by respondent Nos.2 to 5 for grant of permission, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently to direct 1®‘ respondent to consider the petitioner’s application seeking the aforesaid request. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner-school and the learned Government Pleader for School Education representing respondent Nos.1 to 5. 3. Contents of the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition in brief, are that the petitioner has been running a school in the name and style of Satishreddy E.M. School under the management and control of Singareddy Nagireddy Education Society, Singareddy Nagireddy Colony, Pulivendula Road, Vempally (M), Y.S.R. Kadapa District. The said Society was registered vide Registration No.85 of 2023, dated 15.04.2023, under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001. 4 SRK,J W.P.N0.15779 0F2025 While the matter stood thus, the petitioner made an application before respondent-D/sfr/cf Educational Officer, Kadapa, 4. seeking permission for upgradation of classes VIII to X (English Medium) for the academic year 2025-26. Pursuant thereto, 4^^ respondent inspected the school premises and recommended the proposal for grant of such permission. Subsequently, 3'"'^ respondent-f?eg/ona/ Joint Director of School Education also recommended the proposal to 2"^^ respondent-commissioner of School Education. Likewise, 2 nd respondent concurred with the opinion of 3'"'^ respondent and recommended the upgradation of the classes, as requested by the petitioner. It is thie grievance of the petitioner that in spite of the same, 1®^ respondent is not taking any decision on the proposal since January,2025. Learned Government Pleader for School Education, on instructions, submitted that 2^^ respondent forwarded the proposals, respondent for further 5. St along with the detailed checklist, to 1 examination and for taking an appropriate decision in accordance with the extant rules. It is further submitted that orders from the Government are awaited. 6. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case. and in view of the submissions made by the learned Government Pleader for School Education, on instructions, this Writ Petition is 1 5 SRK,J W.P.NO.15779OF2025 disposed of, with a direction to 1 respondent to consider the recommendations made by respondent Nos.2 to 5, and to pass appropriate orders in the matter, in accordance with law, within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. 7. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
