This Contempt Petition is filed alleging wilful and deliberate violation of the orders dated 28.08.2024 & 13.12.2024 passed in Criminal Petition No. 341/2021. The aforesaid Criminal Petition was filed seeking quashment of Gorchuk P.S. Case No. 47/2018 which was initially registered as Fatasil Ambari P.S.Case No. 17/2008. 3. This Court requested Mr. K. Baishya, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam to complete his instruction. 4. On instruction of the Officer-in-Charge of Gorchuk Police Station, Mr. Baishya, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam submits that after completion of the investigation, police had filed Closure report in the form of FR being FR No. 459/2022 dated 30.09.2022. 5. In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this contempt petition may be closed. However, he may be given a liberty to approach this Court if there is any illegal action on the part of the police. 6. Prayer stands allowed. 7.
