The present writ petition has been filed for following reliefs:- “(A) For a direction upon the respondents to release the admitted amount of dues amounting to Rs.5,24,179/- alongwith interest @ 12% from the date of completion of work which is payable to the petitioner pursuant to the work completed by the petitioner in terms of work order having reference No.NIT/AE/WO/05/2012-13 dated 03.08.2012 (Annexure-1) for minor repairing work, internal and external painting of hostel-C and its dining block at NIT, Jamshedpur and the work order having reference No. NIT/AE/WO/06/2012-13 dated 03.08.2012 (Annexure-2) for minor repairing work, internal and external painting of Hostel-D and its dining block at NIT Jamshedpur. (B) For a direction that the petitioner is entitled to get the admitted amount of dues amounting to Rs.5,24,179/- pursuant to the work completed by the petitioner in terms of work order having reference No. NIT/AE/WO/05/2012-13 dated 03.08.2012 and work order having reference No.NIT/AE/WO/06/2012-13 2025:JHHC:26492 2. W.P.C No.4150 of 2018 dated 03.08.2012 inasmuch as despite completing the work within the stipulated time period the admitted amount payable to the petitioner has not been released, despite several requests and representations filed by the petitioner.” 2. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the parties that case has become infructuous as the admitted dues has been released and the same has been received by the petitioner. 3.
