Also heard Mr. T.J. Mahanta, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Ms. P. Sharma, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 1, 2, 3 & 4. This application is filed praying for a direction to the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) to preserve the answer scripts and not to destroy it without the leave of the Court. Mr. T.J. Mahanta, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the APSC submits that as per guide lines the question-cum-answer scripts are preserved for 12 (twelve) months after the date of declaration of the result and the results were declared on 17.01.2024. Page No.# 3/3 Accordingly, as per the prayer made in the Interlocutory Application, the APSC will ensure that the question-cum- answer script pertaining to the Combined Competitive Examination, 2022 for which the results were declared on 17.01.2024 shall be preserved and not be destroyed without the leave of the Court, if already not destroyed in the meantime.
