Notice. Mr. L.N.Sharma, learned Additional Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents.

This writ petition has been filed for grant of following substantive reliefs:-
“(a) That the writ in the nature of Mandamus may kindly be issued directing the respondents to conduct review DPC as per Chapter 16 clause 16.33 sub clause 6 of Handbook of Personnel matters volume I for promotion to the post of Kanungo in sequel to revised seniority list of Patwaris dated 17.09.21 ( Annexure

2 P-2) which has been issued pursuant to orders dated 12.10.2020 of the Hon'ble High Court (Annexure P-1 ). The seniority in the revised seniority list may be taken into account in the said Review DPC and the benefits may be allowed to be released as per seniority. (b) That the respondents may be directed to consider and decide the pending representation Annexure P- 3 strictly as per the instructions as contained in Handbook of Personnel matters volume I clause 16.33 in a time bound manner by way of a speaking
order. The Petitioner may be allowed promotion on the post of Kanungo from 29.11.2018 i.e the date from junior has been allowed the benefit.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 12.03.2025 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.3 for the redressal of his grievances raised in this writ petition.
Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner would be content in case respondent No.3/competent authority is
directed to decide the aforesaid representation within a fixed time schedule. Learned Additional Advocate General is not averse to this prayer.

Having regard to the afore-submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3/ competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 12.03.2025
3 (Annexure P-3) in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner.
The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
