Petitioner is serving as Trained Graduate Teacher (Non- Medical) in the respondents-Education Department. Under office
order dated 05.05.2025, he was transferred from Government Model Senior Secondary School Gurlarur, District Kangra to Government Model Senior Secondary School Bairagarh, District Chamba. The

2 petitioner complied with the above impugned transfer order and joined at the transferred station. His grievance in this writ petition is against his aforesaid transfer to Government Model Senior Secondary School Bairagarh, District Chamba. In this regard, he had preferred a representation on 16.06.2025 (Annexure P-3) to the respondents/competent authority with the grievance that the place where he has been transferred falls under hard area, whereas, he has already served hard area of Government Senior Secondary School Thalli, Tehsil Churah, District Chamba w.e.f. 13.11.2019 to
02.03.2022. Hence, in terms of applicable transfer policy, having served for requisite tenure in a hard area, the petitioner could not have been transferred again to another hard area.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be content, in case, the respondents/competent authority are directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representation, in accordance with law, within a time bound manner. Learned Additional Advocate General has no objection to this prayer.

Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law and applicable transfer policy, within a period of one week from today. The order so passed be also
3 communicated to the petitioner. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
