Mr. Narender Sharma, Advocate, appears, waives and accepts service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 3. The instant petition has been filed for grant of the following substantive reliefs:- “(i) That the respondents may kindly be directed to decide the representation of the petitioners, which is annexed as Annexures P-2 & P-3; (ii) That the respondents may kindly be directed to make amendment in the Life Insurance Corporation of India (Employee Pension Rules, 1995) wherein, chapter-VI 1 Whether the reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgement? 2 ( 2025:HHC:26523 rate of pension Clause-35 (2) whereby the full pension is paid, if the qualifying service of an employee is not less than 33 years, and by inserting 20 years of qualifying service instead of 33 years.” 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that at this stage, if directions are issued to the respondents to decide the representations submitted by the petitioners, placed on record alongwith the petition as Annexures P-2 & P-3, in a time bound manner, then petitioners would be satisfied, but with liberty to file fresh writ petition on the same cause of action with respect to the other relief prayed in the petition and also with liberty to approach the Court in case, representations are decided against the petitioners. 5. Request made by learned counsel for the petitioners in aforesaid submissions, is accepted and accordingly, the respondents are directed to consider and decide the representations submitted by the petitioners (Annexure P-2 & P-3 of this petition) on or before 30.09.2025, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and also by passing a speaking and reasoned order with information to the petitioners immediately after taking of the decision. 6. Needless to say, petitioners shall at liberty to approach the Court on the same cause of action, in case, anything still 3 ( 2025:HHC:26523 survives to be adjudicated and redressed. 7.
