ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:

“.... a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the Respondent Nos. 5 in repeatedly calling the petitioners to the police station and detaining them from 7.00 am to 11.30/12.00 p.m. in the Police Station and threatening the Petitioners to settle the amounts by interfering in the Civil dispute for recovery of the amounts alleged to be paid to the complainant and others as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violative of article 14, 16 and 300-A of The Constitution of India and contrary to the police Standing Orders and consequently direct the Respondents No. 2 to 5 not to call the petitioners to the police Station and not to interfere in the civil disputes between the petitioners and 6th Respondent and others.”
2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that, based on the complaint lodged by Respondent No.6, a case in Crime No.606 of 2021 on the file of Nagarampalem Police Station, Guntur Urban has been registered against the Petitioners and others for the offence under Section 420 IPC. It is further submitted that the Police are not interfering with the civil disputes between the Petitioners and Respondent No.6.
3. Sri G.R.Sudhakar, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Police may be directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between the parties.
4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Police not to interfere in the civil disputes between the Petitioners and Respondent No.6. Police are further directed to follow due process of law with regard to the crime registered against the Petitioners. There shall be no
order as to costs.
