The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act) Raipur, District Raipur (C.G.) vide her request letter dated 30/04/2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that statement of total 08 prosecution witnesses have been recorded. The examination-in-chief of the investigating officer has been completed and the case is now at the stage of cross-examination. However, the accused was absent during the cross-examination of the investigating officer and trial could not be concluded within the stipulated time. Hence, she prays for grant of further time for concluding the trial. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
