This writ petition was filed in 2015 seeking following relief:- “i. Issue writ rule or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the respondent no.2 to permit the petitioner to fill up the application form for main examination of keeping in view of her higher merit position and eligibility for the post of District Tourism officer after calling the entire records from the respondents.” 5. Mr. Pankaj Miglani, learned counsel appearing for Public Service Commission submits that writ petition has become infructuous as the main examination for which petitioner has sought permission, was held long back and all the persons selected in the selection process also appointed. 6. Thus, we find substance in the said submission. Since petitioner was 2025:UHC:3411-DB declared unsuccessful in the preliminary examination and by means of this writ petition he sought a writ to permit him to appear in the main examination. This relief cannot be granted to the petitioner after ten years. Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. (Ashish Naithani, J.)
