By this application filed under Section 483 BNSS, the petitioner, namely, Md. Maichan Khan, son of Khursed Khan, resident of village-Jania, Police Station & District-Barpeta is seeking bail in Gorchuk Police Station Case No. 351/2024 registered under Sections 303(2)/317(2) of BNS, Page No.# 2/2 2023 read with Section 7 of the Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021 and read with Section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, corresponding to G.R. No. 6558/2024, in which he was arrested on 06.11.2024. 3. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. K K Parashar, learned APP, Assam, on instruction, has submitted that police after completion of the investigation of the case has already submitted Charge-Sheet in said Gorchuk PS Case No. 351/2024 vide Charge Sheet No. 270/2024 dated 30.12.2024. 4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the appropriate forum/authority for his regular bail in said Gorchuk PS Case No. 351/2024. 5.
