The present petition has been filed with the following prayer: “a) quash the FIR No. 159/2023 (Annexure P/18) registered in Police Station-Jamul, District Durg (C.G.) under Section 3 & 4 of Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Digitally signed by MOHAMMAD AADIL KHAN 2 Marriage) Act, 2019 with all further proceedings and actions; and/or b) pass any other order or direction as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted copy of the order dated 16-01-2024 passed in SLP (Crl.) No.10257/2023 by the Hon’ble Apex Court, which is taken on record. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the present petition may be dismissed as withdrawn at this stage as the petitioner had moved SLP (Crl.) No.10257/2023 against the order of this Court rejecting his anticipatory bail application and the anticipatory bail was granted by the Hon’ble Apex Court vide order 16-01-2024 and the SLP was also disposed of with an observation in para No.6 which is as under:- “6. In the event, that a settlement is arrived at between the parties in the course of the mediation proceedings, liberty is granted to them to file a miscellaneous application before this Court for a decree in terms of the settlement.” 4. It is stated by the private respondent/respondent No.2 that a settlement agreement has been arrived between the parties at the Supreme Court Mediation Center on 14-05-2024. 3 5. In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and as the parties have been given liberty to move appropriate application before the Hon’ble Apex Court, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
