Notice to respondent No.9 is dispensed with in view of the proposed order to be passed. 2. The Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a) Issue a writ of certiorari or any other writ of like nature and quash the Calendar of events published on 19.03.2025 issued by the 8 respondent, vide Annexure-d to the writ petition, b) Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other writ of like nature and direct the respondent No.8 to prepare the eligible voters list after giving an opportunity to defaulters to rectify and thereafter to publish the calendar of events and, c) Grant any other remedy this Hon'ble court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case. 3. What has been sought for is quashing of calendar of events dated 19.03.2025 which has already been put in motion and the elections are now proposed to be held on 6.04.2025. Once a calendar of events is issued, the Hon’ble Apex Court has categorically held and directed the High Courts not to intercede in the matter by granting any order of stay. - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:13144 WP No. 9381 of 2025 4. In that view of the matter, the calendar of events having been issued, no interim order can be granted. If no interim order can be granted, the question of considering the main prayer would not arise. 5. Reserving liberty to the petitioner to raise all the disputes under Section 70(2) of the Karnataka Cooperative Societies Act, 1959, the petition stands disposed of.
