Case No. 137 of 2024. State has submitted a report which reflects that initially the case was registered under Sections 406 and 420 of the IPC. Subsequently, the provisions under Section 467/468/471/120B of the IPC have been added. The petitioner claims that his representation was made on 10th February, 2025. The main grievance of the petitioner is that the persons who sold the land had no authority to sell the same as the original owner of the property has expired. The warisan certificate was on a date on which the owner of the land has expired. The land was already sold to some other persons by the original owner, as such, the vendor who sold the land to the present petitioner did not have any right, title, interest and by way of deceitful means has been able to convince the petitioner thereby sold the property. Be that as it may, the representation which was made, was in the aforesaid tune. Such representation was received by the office of Narayanpur Police Station on 10.02.2025. The report which has been submitted reflects that the investigation is being done by the Detective Department of the Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate. Having considered the same, the petitioner would file the same representation to the present investigating officer attached to the Detective Department, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate and the concerned investigating officer will consider the chronology of events as has been stated in the representation thereafter assess whether the same is to be added or incorporated in the present investigation which is being carried out. The investigating officer, if required, will seek assistance of the superior officer of the police before arriving at his/her conclusion. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 9991 of 2025 is disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Report so submitted be kept with the record.
