Mira, learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner. Also heard Ms. M. Bhattacharjee, learned Addl. Sr. Govt. Advocate, Assam and Ms. M. M. Kotoki, learned Standing Counsel, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, Assam appearing for the respondents. The case of the writ petitioner is that the application filed by him for appointment on compassionate ground was recommended by the District Level Committee, Hailakandi. However, due to the O.M. dated 18.09.2024 the SLC has refused to consider the case of the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition. Mr. Mira submits that in view of the judgment and order dated 03.04.2025 passed in WP(C) No.342/2025 and the batch of connected writ petitions rendered by a coordinate Bench of this Court, the present case is covered by the said decision and therefore, this writ petition can be disposed of accordingly. Ms. Bhattacharjee, learned Addl. Sr. Govt. Advocate, Assam and Ms. M. M. Kotoki, learned Standing Counsel, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, Assam appearing for the respondents have also agreed to the said submission. In view of the above and on the joint request of learned counsel for both the Page No.# 3/3 sides, this writ petition is hereby disposed of by providing that the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground be reconsidered/re- examined by the SLC as per the observations and directions made in paragraphs 7, 9 and 10 of the judgment and order dated 03.04.2025 passed by this Court in WP(C) No.342/2025 and the batch of connected writ petitions.
