CMP-T No. 866 of 2024 By way of instant application, petitioner has sought leave of the Court to produce on record certain additional documents. It is averred that by the documents sought to be placed on record by the petitioner, it will be established that the petitioner was performing the duties as Senior Draftsman. Respondents have filed the reply and have opposed the prayer on the grounds, firstly, that they have not been supplied with the copies of documents sought to be produced and secondly, the documents are not relevant. Having considered the rival submissions, I am of the considered view that the application needs to be allowed for the reason that one of the issue involved in the matter is as to whether the petitioner had been performing the duties of Senior Draftsman. The objection as to the documents not being relevant is without any basis. Further, the application was filed in the month of August, 2024 and the respondents could have easily inspected the documents, even if assumed to be not supplied to them. Accordingly, the application is allowed. The documents sought to be produced on record by way of instant application are ordered to be taken on record, subject to all just exceptions.
