GA ( Hon’ble Shri Bibhu Datta Guru, Judge) Order on Board 09/05/2025 1. By the present writ petition, the petitioners who were working as Assistant Teacher (L.B.) at various Govt. Primary School of Janjgir, Champa, seeking a direction towards the respondents for promotion to the post of Teacher (Sanskrit) from the post of Assistant Teacher (Panchayat) with effect from 2015. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the CEO Zila Panchayat has already sent the list of eligible Assistant Teachers (Panchayat) who are eligible for promotion to the post of Teacher and also stated that the General Administration Committee of the Zila Panchayat vide its resolution dated 14.01.2025 has also recommended the name of the petitioners for promotion to the post of Teacher. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents, on instruction, submits that the communication of the Zila Panchayat which has been stated by the petitioner is under consideration by the respondent Director Panchayat and the said recommendation is pending for decision of the Director. The Director Panchayat will take a decision on the recommendation made by the Zila Panchayat within a stipulated period. 4. I have heard both the parties and perused the pleadings of the petitioners. 3 5. It appears from the pleadings as well as the relief sought by the petitioners that the petitioners are seeking a direction towards the Director Panchayat to take a decision on the recommendation made by the Zila Panchayat by which it has recommended grant of promotion to the petitioners from the post of Assistant Teacher to Teacher (Panchayat). 6. Looking to the submission made by the State counsel, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities/ Director Panchayat to take a decision on the recommendation made by the Zila Panchayat within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law. The petitioners may apprise the Director Panchayat about the order of this Court. 7. With the aforesaid direction, these writ petition is disposed of. Sd/- (Bibhu Datta Guru) JUDGE Rahul
