The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Parsudih P.S. Case No. 161 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 17(a), 21(a), 22(a), and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act. Cognizance has been taken under Sections 22(a) & 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Special Judge (NDPS), Jamshedpur. It was submitted that 2.99 grams of brown sugar was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that the quantum of seized brown sugar comes within the purview of small quantity. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge (NDPS), Jamshedpur, in connection with Parsudih P.S.
