( 2025:JHHC:25688 ) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 7240 of 2025 Chandradeo Yadav, aged about 30 years, S/o Babuni Yadav, R/o village- Kenduwa, P.O. + P.S.- Gidhour, District- Chatra. … Petitioner - Versus - The State of Jharkhand … Opp. Party ------ CORAM: - HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ----- For the Petitioner : Mr. Arwind Kumar, Advocate For the State : Mr. Sardhu Mahto, A.P.P. --- 02/26.08.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 102/2022, for the offences registered under Sections 302/34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Chatra. On 11.04.2022 at about 6:00 A.M., the informant left for Chatra with his family members. When they reached near Ramtunda Togri, the petitioner along with co-accused persons intercepted the informant party and started assaulting his uncle, due to which he succumbed to his injuries. It was submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation of assault against the accused persons. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court as well as by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Chatra, in connection with with Sadar P.S.
