Page No.# 2/2 submits that the role of the respondent No. 1 is over, inasmuch as, the pension proposal of the petitioner has been submitted by the respondent No. 1 to the Director of Pension, Assam through the Inspector of Schools, KDC, Amingaon, vide letter dated 15.03.2025. No one appears for the respondent No. 2, who is the Inspector of Schools. Office note dated 03.01.2025 indicates that notice was issued to the respondent No. 2 on 03.01.2025. However, there is no return of A/D card or unserved notice in respect of respondent No. 2 till date. Mr. S Rabha, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the respondent No. 1 has forwarded the pension proposal of the petitioner to the Director of Pension, through the Inspector of Schools, vide letter dated 15.03.2025 issued by the respondent No. 1, the contempt petition can be closed. In view of the submissions made by the counsels for the parties and as the proposal for payment of pension has been initiated, the contempt petition stands closed. The letter dated 15.03.2025 issued by the respondent No. 1 and the Annexures are made a part of the record and marked as Annexure-‘X’ collectively.
