Present writ petition is filed by the petitioner against the inaction on the part of the respondents in not considering petitioner as trained teacher. 2. According to learned counsel for the petitioner, petitioner is trying to take the benefit which falls from the Circular of the State Government dated 22.11.1979 issued by the Director, Public Instructions, which specifically envisages waiving off undergoing the training process for declaring a teacher as a trained teacher, in the event if he/she has completed either 20 years of service, or has crossed the age of 50 years. Wps 3489 of 2025 2 3. According to learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner herein has already crossed the age of 50 years and at the same time, completed more than 20 years of service. Thus, in view of the Circular above mentioned, present petitioner has become entitled to be declared as Trained Teacher. 4. At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner has the limited prayer that the petitioner has already represented the grievance to the higher authorities in the department, and may further submit a fresh representation to the authorities supported with all relevant documents, and the authorities concerned may consider the same in accordance with Rules, regulations, and Circulars governing the field, and in case, if the petitioner is found entitled for the benefit, the same be extended at the earliest. 5. The above limited prayer sought for by the petitioner is not opposed by the learned State counsel, except for the fact that contentions raised by the petitioner need to be verified from the service record of the petitioner. 6. Given the said submissions by learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition stands disposed of directing respondents- 1 and 2 to take appropriate decision in case of the petitioner deciding as to whether the petitioner would be entitled for exemption for being declared as Trained Teacher, or not ? 7. Let an appropriate decision be taken in this regard at the earliest, preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 8.
