WPA 9852 of 2025
Asgar Ali Sekh -Vs- The State of West Bengal & Ors.
Mr. Saheb Banerjee
… for the Petitioner(s) Mr. Wasim Ahmed Mr. Md. Z. Rahaman
… for the State-respondent(s)
Re
Learned advocate for the petitioner complains that the private respondents have sold the same property to different persons and, to that effect, an information was furnished with the Officer-in-charge of Memari Police Station.
Today, a report has been submitted on behalf of the State which reflects that Memari P.S. Case No. 341 of 2025 dated 14.05.2025 has already been registered for investigation.
In view of the investigation having commenced, I am of the opinion that the purpose for which the writ petition has
been preferred has been sub-served.
Accordingly, WPA 9852 of 2025 is
disposed of.
Pending connected application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
Report so submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the petitioner.
Parties to act on a server copy of this
order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta.
