File has been placed before me to verify compliances of order dated 07.01.2025. Petitioner Sh. Atul Punj has been granted permission to travel to United Kingdom from 01.02.2025 to 15.02.2025 abroad by the Hon'ble Court subject to conditions contained in order dated 07.01.2025. In compliance of order dated 07.01.2025 passed by the Hon’ble Court, petitioner has filed an affidavit-cum-undertaking whereby he has undertaken that he shall abide by the terms contained in the affidavit. He has undertaken that he shall return to the country by
15.02.2025. He has mentioned the complete itinerary including his stay at various stations abroad, residential/hotel addresses and phone number details in compliance of the Court order. It is submitted that the phone number provided would be used by him during his stay abroad, which number will be kept operational at all times. He has also file an undertaking that he shall adhere to the programme mentioned in the affidavit and not visit any other stations.

Vide order dated 07.01.2025 the Hon’ble Court has directed the petitioner to furnish the security of Rs. 05 crores. Today, in compliance of order dated 07.01.2025 petitioner has also furnished an FDR for Rs. 05 Crores. The original FDR is handed over across the board. The same is taken on record. The dealing shall keep the same in safe custody. For verification of FDR Mohd. Irshad having employee ID 78754 from Kotak Mahindra Bank has joined proceedings through video conferencing and has verified the FDR bearing A/c No. 4149969495 issued on 10.01.2025 for an amount of Rs. 05 crores (Rupees Five Crores Only). The FDR is found in order and the same is hereby accepted. Registry is directed to send the intimation to the Bank that the said FDR shall not be encashed by the bank without prior permission of this Court. Vide order dated 07.01.2025 petitioner was also directed that he shall deposit the original title deeds of the property (valued at INR 53.89/- Crores), which is in the name of his wife.
Learned counsel for petitioner has also handed over the original title deeds of the properties bearing survey nos. 130/14, 130/15, 129/2 and 128/7 Calangute, Bardez, Goa along with the undertaking that she has no objection in case the afore-noted property is forfeited in the- event any of the aforesaid conditions imposed on Petitioner are violated and also undertaken that she shall not alienate or mortgage the afore-noted property without the permission of the Court, subject to further orders.
Learned counsel for petitioner has also handed over the original passport bearing no. Z5526975 of his wife, namely, Ms. Vasuki Punj. Ms. Vasuki Punj is also present in Court through video conferencing. She affirms that she has signed the undertaking filed This is a digitally signed order. before this Court. The same is perused and accepted. Besides, the petitioner has also furnished a copy of the air tickets that he has purchased for his travel. The petitioner shall be travelling w.e.f. 01.02.2025 to 15.02.2025. The petitioner has joined the proceedings through virtual mode. He has been duly identified by his counsel. Petitioner affirms that he has signed the undertaking filed before this Court, the details of travel, contact furnished in the Court are true and correct and has also undertaken to be bound by the terms of undertaking and to abide by all the conditions imposed by the Hon’ble Court for his travel abroad by
order dated 07.01.2025.
Learned counsel for petitioner has also served the undertaking with relevant documents to the respondents. Petitioner is directed that he shall intimate this Court before leaving and within 72 hours of his return from abroad and also file a self-attested copy of his passport along with copy of his Visa with the Court on his return to India. Considering that the conditions have been complied with by the petitioner, he may travel, as permitted by the Hon’ble Court vide order dated 07.01.2025.
