This writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive reliefs: -
“(a) That the impugned action of the respondents in denying the petitioner the benefit of Grant-in-Aid, may kindly be declared Arbitrary and Discriminatory. (b) That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be passed to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the grant- in-aid in favour of the petitioner w.e.f. 9.3.2015 to 31.12.2017 along with interest @9% p.a.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed a representation at Annexure P-4 to the

2 respondents/competent authority for the redressal of her grievances raised in this writ petition. Learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner would be content, in case, respondents/competent authority are directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner in light of the decision mentioned therein, within a time bound manner. Learned Additional Advocate General has no objection to this prayer.
Having regard to the above submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law and in terms of the decision mentioned therein, within a period of six weeks from today. The order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
