Boruah, for the petitioner Riajat Ali @ Riazot Ali who has filed this application under section 482 of BNSS, 2023 in connection with G.R. Case No. 498/2023, under section 120B/406/420/489A/489C/489D/34 of IPC arising out of PRC Case No. 1857/2023. 2. Heard Mr. D. P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent State. 3. The allegation against the petitioner is that he is involved in dealing with fake currency notes. The petitioner is willing to co-operate with the trial. The charge-sheet has been laid against him. 4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Mr. D. P. Goswami has submitted that the petitioner has been charge-sheeted based on the statement of the co- accused. 5. I have considered the submissions that the petitioner is willing to co- operate with the trial. It is further submitted that the petitioner is not a flight risk as he is a local resident. 6. I have also considered the submissions that the co-accused has already been granted pre-arrest bail in connection with AB No. 3355/2024 vide order dated 05.02.2025. It appears that pre-arrest bail may be granted to the petitioner. It is submitted that the case is pending in the Court of the learned CJM, Lakhimpur. The petitioner is directed to appear before the Court of the learned CJM within 10 (ten) days and the learned CJM shall enlarge the Page No.# 3/3 petitioner on bail of Rs. 25,000/- against a suitable surety of like amount under the conditions that: (i) The petitioner shall refrain from such activities with which he is alleged, and (ii) The petitioner shall co-operate with the trial and not leave the jurisdiction of the Court without prior permission. 7. On breach of any of the bail conditions, the learned Court is at liberty to immediately cancel the bail granted to the petitioner. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
