In compliance to order dated 23.9.2025, the Registry has calculated the amount due to be refunded to the applicant/appellant New India Assurance Co. Ltd. in terms of order dated 1.7.2025, passed by this Court in FAO No. 187 of 2019. An amount of Rs. 7,40,766/- has been calculated as amount due to the applicant/appellant in terms of the aforesaid judgment.
The parties have not disputed the calculation rendered by the Registry. Accordingly, the application is allowed and a sum of Rs. 7,40,766/- is ordered to be refunded in favour of applicant/appellant along with upto date interest accrued thereon by remitting the same to the bank account of the applicant/appellant, as detailed in para-5 of the application. The application stands disposed of.

This application has been filed by applicants/respondents No. 1,2, 3 and 5 in FAO No. 187 of 2019 for release of the award amount lying in deposit in the Registry of this Court according to their respective shares. The Registry has already calculated the shares of the applicants/respondents No. 1, 2, 3 and 5. The non-applicant/appellant has no objection in granting the prayer made in the application. Accordingly, the application is allowed. The amount lying in the respective shares of the applicants/ respondents No. 1, 2, 3 and 5 is ordered to be released in their favour along with upto date interest accrued thereon in their respective bank accounts, as detailed in para-8 of the application, after due verification. The application stands disposed of.
