Masud … for the State Petitioner furnished a representation dated 1st of April, 2024 addressed to the Superintendent of Police, Diamond Harbour Police District in respect of a dispute which took place with the persons named in the representation. The subject matter of such representation related to sudden allegations of apprehension relating to dispossession from the property and to that effect the petitioner’s daughter being threatened by the miscreants after forming an unlawful assembly and by brandishing deadly weapons. Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that there is a civil dispute already existing and the present dispute arose out of a waterbody. 2 Having considered the nature of the dispute I am of the view that the police authorities would keep a strict vigil in case there is any breach of the peace in the locality and ensure that no untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the parties. With the aforesaid observations WPA No. 10651 of 2024 stands disposed of. All parties shall act on the Server Copy of this order duly downloaded from the Official Website of this Court.
