( 2025:JHHC:29043 ) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 7585 of 2025 ------ Vikash Sao, son of Devnarayan Sao, aged about 30 years, resident of Village-Barikhap, P.O. & P.S.-Bariyatu, Dist.- Latehar … Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand … Opposite Party ------ CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR CHOUDHARY ------ For the Petitioner : Mr. Lalit Yadav, Advocate : Mr. Prashant Kr. Rahul, Advocate For the State : Mr. Manoj Kr. Mishra, Addl. P.P. ------ Order No.03 Dated- 19.09.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has moved this Court for grant of bail in connection with Balumath P.S. Case No.12 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under sections 111(3), 111(4), 308(4), 308(5), 61(2) (b) of the B.N.S. and under SEction 25(1-B)(a)/26/35 of Arms Act. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this is the second journey of the petitioner for grant of bail and earlier the prayer for bail was rejected by this Court vide order dated 28.04.2025 in B.A. No. 3272 of 2025. It is next submitted that the fresh ground is that the petitioner has remained in custody for a considerable period of time since the earlier rejection of the bail. Hence, it is submitted that the petitioner be admitted to bail. The learned Addl. P.P. on the other hand vehemently opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner is having criminal antecedent and he is involved in organized crime and in view of his criminal antecedent, there is every chance of the petitioner absconding and tampering with evidence, if released on bail. Hence, it is submitted that the petitioner ought not be admitted to bail. Considering the facts of the case, this Court is not inclined to review the prayer for bail only because the petitioner has remained in custody for four more months. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected for the same reason as mentioned in the order dated 28.04.2025 in B.A. No. 3272 of 2025. (Anil Kumar Choudhary, J.) Sonu-Gunjan/
