Choudhury, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Ms. P. Das, learned Standing Counsel, Secondary Education Department appearing for respondents No. 1 & 2 and Ms. S. Boro, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Ms. R. B. Bora, learned Standing Counsel, BTC appearing for the respondents No. 3 & 4. It is submitted that the matter is covered in terms of order dated 21.09.2021 passed in WP(C) No. 4694/2021. It is agreed by the learned counsels appearing for the parties that this instant writ petition can also be disposed of in terms for the order dated 21.09.2021 passed in WP(C) NO. 4694/2021. The matter relates to a claim for grant of one advance increment on obtaining B.Ed degree by the petitioners from the State Government. The petitioners are presently servings as Post Graduate Teachers in various High Schools and Secondary Schools in Udalguri District. The petitioners have claimed that they have obtained their B.Ed degrees and as such Page No.# 4/4 they are entitled to advance increment in terms of the Office Memorandum dated 07.03.1998. In view of the aforesaid, the respondent authorities are directed to verify the claim of the petitioners which they have already filed and if it is found that the petitioners are entitled to the aforesaid benefits in terms of the Office Memorandum dated. 07.03.1998, they shall be granted the said benefit. The aforesaid exercise for verification and granting of the benefit shall be carried out by the respondent department within a period of 3 (three) months from the receipt of a copy of this order. In view of the aforesaid, the instant writ petition stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
