The said memo reads as under: "MEMO The petitioner in the above submits as follows: The petitioner submits that the villagers of the petitioner's village and the neighbouring villagers and the local political leaders have requested the petitioner to leave the land in question for the purpose for which it is granted by the Deputy Commissioner stating that, on - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:19162 WP NO.10350 OF 2021 account of the pendency of this writ petition they are suffering shortage of electricity, since the respondent- Authorities are not in a position to install 66/11 KV power station, stating that they will help to get some other land granted in his favour instead of the land in question, in view of the same the petitioner does not press the above writ petition. WHEREFORE, the petitioner most respectfully prays that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to dismiss the above writ petition as withdrawn, in the interest of justice and equity." 2.
