On 25.07.2025, learned counsel for the petitioners sought time to get instructions from his client as to whether anything survives in the writ petition or not. 2.
Today, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are not in contact with him for a long time, as such, prayed to pass appropriate orders. 3
3. Since the matter pertains to the year 2002 and the petitioners had not been pursuing the case through his advocate, it shows that the petitioners have no interest in prosecuting the matter. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. However, if the petitioners feel that the cause still survives, they can file appropriate application within a period of two (2) months. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed. _____________________________
