Benjin Naj Laskar @ Benajir Naj Laskar, who have filed this application under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 with prayer for pre-arrest bail in connection with Karimganj Police Station Case No. 534/2024 under Section 120B/420/406/409 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 read with Section 21(1)/21(2)/21(3) of Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Act, 2019. Heard learned Special Prosecutor Mr. M. Haloi for the CBI, who has stated that charge sheet has been laid in connection with this case but charge sheet has not been laid against the petitioners. However, it is submitted by the learned Special Public Prosecutor Mr. M. Haloi that further investigation still is pending.
