2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Ghaghra P.S. Case No. 66 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 17(a), 21(a), 22(a), 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, 1985, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla.
3. It was submitted that 25 grams of brown sugar were recovered from the joint possession of the petitioner and two accused persons. It was further submitted that the quantum of seized brown sugar comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was finally submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
4. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla in connection with Ghaghra P.S. Case No. 66 of 2025.
