At that time, one Auto came in OPPOSite direction and on' seeing police, the accused sitt'lng in Auto, attempted to escape. Immediately, the Inspector and his staff detained the accused person. on enquiry, the accused revealed that he was carrying dry Ganja in the Auto. On search,100 Kgs of Ganja packed in 2 kg packets found |ln the Auto. The contraband, along with the vehicle and other ma{er'lal, was seized under cover of a mediators report and a case has been registered aga'lnst the accusedl subsequently, accused was arrested and remanded to judicial Custody On 12.03.2025. 4. Heard the learned COunSel appearing On behalf Of the accused and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State. 5'. Perused the record. 6. A perusal of the material On record goes tO Show that the contraband allegedly seized from the possession of accused 'ls 10O Kgs of Ganja| The pet-ltioner was arrested and remanded On ¢=-5-frso 12.03.2025 and since then, he is in judicial custody. Learned Assistant public prosecutor submits that major part of the investigation is completed except filing of the charge-sheet. 7. ln viewofthe aforesaid facts and circumstances, this court is incII-ned to grant bail to the petitioner/accused herein, on the following condl'tions, (i) The petitioner/accused herein shall be released on his executing a personal bond for Rs.1O,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned I Additional District & sessions Judge-Gum-special Judge for trial of offences under the NDPS Act, at Visakhapatnam. (ii) On release, the petitioner/accused shall appear before the Station House officer concerned once in a week i.e. on every sunday between 10.00 a.m. and o5.00 p.m., till foiling of the charge-sheet. 8.
