1. The sole grievance raised by the petitioners relates to production of the land status report by the petitioners. Mr. V.P. 2. In view thereof, the grievance of the petitioners will have to be reconsidered by the concerned authority. Let the petitioners to approach the sub-Registrar within a period of two weeks from today along with all necessary documents. On petitioners appearing before the concerned authority, let the documents be registered in accordance with law and for any other reason, if the same is not possible, let the appropriate speaking
order be passed after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. The petitioners, thereafter, shall be at liberty to take appropriate recourse in accordance with law.
3. The Registrar shall also keep in mind the principle of law laid down by the Supreme Court in the case of K. Gopi v. Sub-Registrar & Ors., 2025 SCC OnLine SC 740.
4. The Registrar to undertake the necessary exercise within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the copy of the order passed today.
5. Accordingly, the writ petitions stand disposed of.
